The University of Saint Joseph MS Nurse Educator track is designed to prepare professional nurses for an entry-level position in colleges and universities, as well as leadership in clinical education. In addition to advanced practice nursing content, courses in nursing education are required. A practicum is arranged in collaboration with course faculty and a nurse educator within an academic institution or a clinical agency. The program of study includes the educational proficiencies that prepare students to comply with the National League for Nursing core competencies for nurse educators.
