Program Description

Lincoln College of New England offers the RN to BSN program for registered nurses who have successfully completed prerequisite coursework and college core requirements and have a strong desire to obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing. Our curriculum was developed to bridge the current Associate Degree Nursing degree or diploma in Nursing to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. It is the mission of this program to foster a learning environment that prepares culturally competent nurses to lead and educate in a diverse and complex world. The RN to BSN program's use of the accelerated hybrid format provides a flexible way of learning by requiring attendance to the classroom setting one night per week with the remainder of the course work completed in an online environment. In addition to the general education requirements, language is also required because of our commitment to cultural diversity and awareness. Applicants may transfer up to a maximum of 90 credits of the required 121 credits for the degree completion. Learners are exposed to community through their participation in the health and wellness center at LCNE and also gain experience through the capstone course designed to broaden the existing role of the RN.
