Program Description

The mission of the State of Connecticut Technical High School System is to meet the needs of Connecticut citizens and employers through intensive, occupational specific training. The LPN program is the only publicly funded Licensed Practical Nurse Program in the State of CT. We have been successfully educating Licensed Practical Nurses since the 1950's. This program is offered at 6 different sites throughout the State by the Adult Education Branch of the Connecticut Technical High School System. The LPN program is fully accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and the Connecticut State Board of Examiners for Nursing. Upon graduation, one will be eligible to sit for the national licensing exam (NCLEX-PN). Success on the NCLEX-PN enambles the graduate to be licensed as an LPN in the State of Connecticut.
